The puppies are 7 weeks old now - Elska will likely have a new home in Michigan and her new family sounds excited about her - Bjossi is still looking for a home. They are very active and learning their manners now. They eat almost entirely solid food and their mother only allows them to nurse about once a day. They love to run and jump and will chase anything that moves. In fact, getting these photos was difficult because they want so much to stay right at my heels when we try to walk in the field. I have to sit still so that they will walk away enough so that i am able to take a whole body photo! This has been quite the experience. Here are more photos due to popular demand from the Icelandic Sheepdog community!

The puppies are now 4 weeks old and starting to show personality and curiosity. They are starting to come when called and love to go outside to investigate the world. Their mom still cleans up after them. The female, Elska, is smaller by a little than the male, Bjossi. photos and maybe some video to come.

puppies are 3 weeks old!

Snulla x Ansel

Male black tricolor and female sable and white with black mask - very cute. Just starting to really get around and act like dogs. My first litter but Snulla's 3rd - so she is helping me learn.
